Konstantyn and Anastasia S from Dnipro

We are making aliyah because we want to change our lives!

When the full-scale war began, I went to defend Ukraine. I had to be in the hottest battles. Now it is still hard for me to remember my combat experience, because it is too much of a burden on the psyche. The circumstances that a soldier goes through on the front lines are sometimes simply unbearable! I miraculously managed to avoid death several times! Thanks to the Almighty, I emerged from combat clashes alive many times! But, one day, an enemy attack ended with me being seriously wounded. Only thanks to the efforts of my comrades-in-arms, military doctors, and volunteers, I survived that battle! Everyone fought for my life: my friends pulled me off the field, a combat medic was able to stop the bleeding, and the volunteers managed to take me to a military hospital. Miraculously, I survived!

Despite the fact that at first this situation seemed so unbearable to me; it turned out to be a blessing. All because of this injury I was discharged from the army. Thus, I paid my debt to Ukraine, and now I am a free man! My aunt, cousin and sister live in Israel. What is interesting is that before that my relatives lived in Moscow, but when the war with Ukraine began, they immediately decided to repatriate to Israel, and the documents for passing the consular check had to be obtained from Ukraine. My aunt contacted Ezra and the employees of the Ukrainian Ezra collected everything she needed and were able to send it to her through Moldova. Thanks to this help, my aunt's family is now in Israel. They are very happy there! And now I am in touch with them every day.

I am especially close with my cousin; we are the same age and he tells me everything about his life in Israel. Every day I began to fall in love with Israel more and more and I wanted to move there forever! There is another important factor that is significant for repatriation to Israel - my wife, Nastya, is pregnant. We want our child to be born in a protected country, where there is stability, where their citizens are taken care of, and life is valued!

Watching my relatives in Israel, I realized that the standard of living there is much higher, everything is different there! I also realized that if a person is not lazy, he will be successful. I am not lazy - I have a lot of experience working with technology, and my wife is a doctor. Therefore, we plan to fully master Hebrew, my wife wants to confirm her diploma, I will work in my sphere. Our child will grow up in the safest place on earth for Jews!  It’s difficult to leave friends and relatives here – but nothing else!

When Nastya and I had completely decided that we were going to Israel, we immediately contacted Ezra. All because Ezra did the impossible for my aunt's family. And I knew that these people do miracles for Jews! They consulted us, helped us collect a package of documents for consular check, provided us with financial assistance, helped us obtain police clearance certificates. We went through consular check in Moldova and passed it the first time, thanks to Ezra. They also organized transport for us before departure, for which we are very grateful! They drove us to Vinnitsa very comfortably, from there we went to Moldova and Israel.

For me, you are the embodiment of a miracle! Like angels who carry Jews to their homeland on their wings! Thank you for all the help, care and warmth of your souls! May everything be fine with you!
